在这部飞狗巴迪4：第七局获胜喜剧/剧情/家庭片中,【神犬也疯狂4：第七局获胜】（Air Bud: Seventh Inning Fetch）是迪斯尼继1997年的【神犬也疯狂】（Air Bud）、1998年的【神犬也疯狂2：金牌接球员】（Air Bud: Golden Receiver）、2000年的【神犬也疯狂3：神犬家族】（Air Bud: World Pup）之后，于2002年再度发行的一部续集作品，本片迪斯尼是以直接发行录像带和DVD的方式推出，并没有安排在戏院上映。 　　如果看过狗狗打篮球、橄榄球、足球都还不觉得稀奇的话，那么…棒球咧？在【神犬也疯狂4】当中，神犬 Buddy 这回要在棒球场上驰骋了！在本片中， Buddy 的主人 Josh Framm 已经上大学了，在他大一离家的时间，Buddy 待在家中与 Josh 的小妹 Andrea 为伴，刚刚升上初中的 Andrea 想要跟同学打成一片，就加入了学校的棒球队，忠心的守护者 Buddy 自然也跟着来了，结果又再度激发出这只狗儿与众不同的棒球天分，但是这次又有麻烦，Buddy 的那几只小狗一夕之间失踪了，看来又是一次小狗绑架事件，Buddy 必须尽全力救出他的那群小狗们。本片不但可以再次看到 Buddy 挥洒他的运动天分，同时也可以在片中看见 Buddy 居然加入美国职棒大联盟。
                    Josh is off to his first year of college and Buddy has stayed behind with Andrea and the rest of the family. Andrea, attempting to fit in with her junior high classmates, decides to join the baseball team and along the way discovers that Buddy is a talented baseball player. Just as the season is settling in, a terrible discovery is made - Buddy's puppies have mysteriously started disappearing with the help of kidnappers' little helper, Rocky Raccoon. He must find them and make it to the major leagues as he goes to bat for the Anaheim Angels!
