Sean, a deaf high school student, enjoys the camaraderie of his cross-country teammates. Amid the running and the joking around, however, he finds himself drawn to one of the team's top runners, Derek. The two pursue an interest neither understands, and both struggle to define their friendship and sexuality. Set on the East Coast in autumn, the film explores deafness, internalized homophobia, and the visual lyricism of running.
                    Sean is deaf, a high school student and a cross country runner. He's also a closeted gay teenager who's just coming to terms with his sexuality and his attraction to a fellow team-mate.
