                    In the world of matriarchy the show follows three families living side by side in the suburbs of the capital region of Iceland. The gender roles have been completely flipped, while the wives leave each morning for their important jobs the husbands stay at home to raise the children and take care of the household. The families are different from each other and although the three husbands are quite good friends their characters have very little in common. At number 21 we have Halldór (Dóri) who most likely suffers from procrastination and is constantly trying to avoid doing the chores at home. At number 19 we have Sjonni a perfectionist constantly making something in the kitchen and has no need for worries in his life. At number 17 we have Indriði (Indi). who is constantly worrying about basically everything. Indi is highly stressed which often results in him spilling down something, burning something or just making bad decisions.
