Documentary about French cartoonist Jano (Jean le Guay), and his visit to Rio de Janeiro in 2000. The city's beauty and uniqueness inspired him to draw a book called "Cadernos de Viagem - Rio de Janeiro" (Travel Notebooks - Rio de Janeiro), in which he captures the many facets of the city and the essence of daily life in Rio.
Jano is a French comicbook writer and artist. This documentary shows his trip to Rio de Janeiro to produce one of his "travel journals", where he depicts the city's people, locations and soul through his drawings. Jano goes to beaches, street markets, bars, nightclubs, favelas and the streets of Rio.
