在这部妲卡剧情片中,保加利亚电影制片厂出品。上海电影制片厂1954年配音复制。解放前，保加利亚一个贫农的女儿妲卡离开家乡来到一家纺织厂做工，她和女工们象进了监狱，受着监工的打骂、凌辱和资本家的剥削。正当她失望彷徨的时候，工厂的技师、共产党员依万给了她启发和教育，引导她参加了革命工作。在一次反动派镇压工人运动时，妲卡和其他同志一起被关进了监狱。解放后，妲卡和纺织工人一起又投入了生产建设热潮。（摘自四川大学中文系1980年编《电影手册》）
                    A representative of a textile mill arrive sin Danka's village to hire weavers. Several girls, including Danka, sign a contract and leave the village. Soon the girls realize that the terms of the contract are not observed and that the output of the mill goes to the German. Danka gets in touch with the underground group at the mill. She hides leaflets, and defends the girl's rights before the owner. After the victory of socialist revolution, the mill is handed over to the people. Danka addresses a worker's rally.
