When the story opens we are in a classroom and meet a hot-headed bully, a loudmouth lying liar, and a shy, mopey kid each with faces painted to match their characteristics.
Their stories are told through their black classmate who is upbeat, confident, and wishes to see them all stop acting like a bunch of clowns and get their act together.
Fair enough.
                    A group of misbehaving children come across a magic mirror that, when they look into it, shows them as clowns and tries to convince them to change their disruptive behavior.
