Elior Ishmukhamedov is an Uzbek director who believes in making films where human emotions play a crucial role.Most of his films (Farewell Green Summer) portray young actors who devise ways to find true love One of his most charming films Nezhnost (Tenderness) is set in 1960s. He directs a poetic story about an idyllic universe in Tashkent where everybody is looking for little love.It is in these times that a young boy names Sandzhar decides to face all his failures in love.As this film is set in 1960s,some influence of other national film industries can easily be felt as that of French Nouvelle Vague.It appears as if youngsters from Uzbekistan are also getting ready to lead a life similar to their counterparts in Europe.Elior Ishmukhamedov shows us summer time revelry of his young protagonists.There is an air of happiness as they make attempts to seek love.Apart from this film's simple storyline,if there is anything that would captivate audiences, then it is this film's photography which make us all aware of the fact that first love is a feeling which must be cherished by everybody.
                    Three interrelated stories of thwarted young love in summertime Tashkent. Visually striking with some memorable images and two heartfelt performances, but the story line is difficult to follow as the subtitles are often lost in the bright sunlight through the trees or off the water.
