Since then... her case has been signified as a "kidnapping" and has gone on to be analyzed on programs like "The Oprah Winfrey Show" & "Unsolved Mysteries". It would not be until 1989, when nearly 2,000 miles away from Calico's New Mexico home, that a Polaroid photograph was discovered at a Port St. Joe, Florida convenient store parking lot. What the picture possessed would forever change the public outlook on the very mysterious case.
