在这部Diritto di vivere片中,
                    Palmieri, a rich engineer, lives on an estate run to his satisfaction by Gaetano, his steward, assisted by his son Vanni. The latter seems to be a serious young man but he in fact has ulterior motives: he plans to kidnap Patrizia, Palmieri's daughter. And not only that, he also decides to be 'kidnapped' himself (by two accomplices) for another ransom, from his own father this time.
