                    LCpl Olive Mendez is a tough and fiery twenty-year old with a major chip on her shoulder. She joined the Marine Corps as a way to "fight the bad guys" who are responsible for the 9/11 attacks. Stationed in Zabul Province, Afghanistan and assigned to the Motor Pool, she gets the opportunity to join a Female Engagement Team, or FET. As a woman in the Marine Corps, Olive finds she must constantly prove herself, but she also discovers bonds of sisterhood and of friendship. When a male Corpsman vilifies her in front of her fellow troopers, she becomes more determined than ever to show her mettle. After a brutal sexual assault, Olive is put to the ultimate test of honor, courage and sacrifice.
