在这部职守片中,theatrical comedy by Serbian playwright Dušan Kovačević (Dushan Kovachevich) bases its plot on unexpected and profound communication between the poet-dissident and a secret policeman, who’s shadowed the poet for a decade. Bitter comedy, full of emotions was the source for a television adaptation of „Zvezdara Theatre“ performance (1990), as well as for a feature movie adaptation (2003), latter directed by the author himself. The television version faithfully followed the text of original comedy, but in more recent movie version, Kovačević changes original post-Titoistic totalitarian ambient into Slobodan Milošević epoch, adding to his artistic vision documentary materials of numerous Belgrade civic protests in 1990-ies.
