It is about music but in it they will be able to see everyday life and community life the typical houses in a small mountain town in Puerto Rico. A music school teacher receives a call from the “Cultural Caravan, an initiative by famed Puerto Rican jazz musician Miguel Zenon, where he offers a free concert and master class about jazz and improvisation in a selected school and town. This program must involve a music teacher from the selected school and he must prepare the student to participate in an improv session with Zenon.The documentary follows an out of work music teacher from rural town of Aibonito, and his effort to recover abandoned music classrooms and instruments and to convince and gather past music students to join the band. Music and community come together to welcome Zenon in the grand event. The film portrays missed opportunities for the youth, caused by government cuts in funding for Music and Fine Arts programs in PR's public school system.
