She walks the edge quite comfortably as she gets closer to him, because of her prior experience with the darker side of her relationship with a fellow police officer. She soon finds herself falling in love with the suspect and soon starts to doubt whether he is really what he is accused of being or just a part of a departmental conspiracy.
                    When Alice Redmond is required to go deep undercover in an effort to trap number one suspect Darren Metlick, she gets very close to the edge. Her superiors push her past the point of no return because they need additional evidence to make their case air tight.
