在这部阿塔利亚之路片中,The plot revolves around the dramatic experience of an Egyptian family destroyed by the loss of three sons who attempted migrating to Italy irregularly. The main characters are therefore the father, the mother and the only son still in his home village waiting for his father to gather the money needed to pay the smugglers. Throughout the movie the scenes unravel the difficulties and life threatening risks the minors are exposed at each stage of the perilous journey as well as in the destination country. The movie ends with a modified version of the 35s Public Service Announcements encouraging the youths to develop their skills through education and training and thus become a pillar on which their family and community could rely.
