在这部捐赠者惊悚片中,Kristine Lipton is a young doctor who arrives at a new hospital and discovers widespread corruption and cover-ups. The doctors are conducting grisly experiments on old, indigent patients. The plot is at once terrifying and ludicrous; it would seem impossible that such a hospital could remain open for long, even if the chief of staff is played by Trapper John, M.D., himself, Pernell Roberts. Gilbert walks through the movie with a stiff haughtiness, but there are moments when Donor is unsettling. Looking at this medical butcher shop, you'll be petrified to enter a hospital ever again.
Donor is a variation on a familiar theme, played to the hilt by a topnotch cast.
Doctor Kristine Lipton is shocked when her close friend is strangled by an elderly patient. Before she has a chance to investigate, the killer himself dies in a mysterious accident. Probing further, Melissa deduces that the hospital administators are hiding something from her. She's right: Pernell Roberts and Jack Scalia costar in Donor, which made its broadcast premiere December 9, 1990.
                    Dr. Kristine Lipton finds that something strange is happening in the hospital she works for, when a friend is strangled by an elderly poor patient, who runs away but has an accident and dies. Kristine tries to find out more about this man, but only finds that all the personnel (including the Hospital's Director), are hiding something.
