                    On the third day of their vacation in their country bungalow, the Hannibals are rudely interrupted by a telegram to Henry, calling him back to the office to attend to an important contract. Finding that he will have to go west to see a man personally about the matter, he writes his wife he may be gone some time. She rents the bungalow to four young ladies, then goes to her mother's. She neglects to inform Henry of what she has done and when he succeeds in closing his business transactions much sooner than he expected, he is already on the way home. He arrives at the bungalow in the evening, and the girls, hearing a man on the porch outside, prepare for war. When Henry, thinking to surprise his wife, steals softly in, he is beaten and locked up in the pantry. After an awful fifteen minutes, he succeeds in making the girls realize their mistake and he is released.
