In the beautiful surroundings of North-Eastern Poland’s countryside there is a camp for young married couples. Couples from across Poland participate in a competition called “A Model Family” and are evaluated by the harsh camp management who award them points for all kinds of different tasks. Aspects under evaluation include not just the achievements related to specific tasks but also the views of the families. Interference in privacy and aggressive rivalry spark off protests and conflicts arise among the camp members and its management.
                    Summer camp for young married couples, during which they compete for the main prize, a washing machine, is used by its organizers to promote communist ideas of a happy family life.
