Liliana, a free spirited woman, is abandoned by her husband and so is her newly wed daughter Ana. As the village becomes emptier, foreign religion missionaries keep arriving. After her father and husband leave, Ana disappears. Liliana is left behind with the teacher, whom her husband always thought of as being Ana's father.
Winner of Best Feature Film in the International Film Awards category during the New York International Independent Film and Video Festival that took place in November 2004 in New York City.
A film about dramatic relations, love affairs, loneliness and nightmares in an abandoned Albanian village, where people live like satellites to one another, churches are like satellites to mosques, villages are like satellites to cities and where the grave has miscarried.
                    After the fall of communism in the early 1990s, a few people still live in abandoned Albanian villages. Liliana, a broad-minded woman, has been abandoned by her husband and the village is slowly starting to run out of steam. The inhabitants are confronted with dramatic events and foreign religion missionaries keep on coming.
