在这部倒带和快进短片片中,Justin has always managed to escape his own story. But when he discovers his father’s VHS videos and sees his mother, young and healthy, his past catches up, triggering him to finally confront his family’s misfortune. When Justin was four, a stroke left his mother partially paralyzed and unable to speak. Now that his father is dead, she is the only person he can turn to for answers. While she has to communicate with the help of a computer, she is sharp and witty, and Justin begins to draw the connection between the mother he longed to have and the woman in the wheelchair.
