在这部欢乐颂喜剧/剧情/音乐片中,落語家・立川志の輔の同名新作落語を映画化した人情喜劇。小さな地方都市、みたま町の文化会館に勤める飯塚主任（小林薫）が、大晦日に開催されるママさんコーラスグループのコンサートをダブルブッキングしてしまったことにより起こる騒動をユーモラスに描く。監督は「東京タワー／オカンとボクと、時々、オトン」の松岡錠司。共演は安田成美、伊藤淳史、由紀さおり、浅田美代子ら。
It is somewhere in the middle of nowhere, Japan and the local community theatre has managed to double-book its facility. One group is comprised of local housewives. The other group is comprised of local housewives. They both want to sing for the New Year. The manager needs to figure something out.
