Twenty years down the line, four friends in their mid-thirties decide to repeat the experience of a weekend spent together in 1980: leaving behind them various commitments, families, problems and responsibilities, they set off from Correggio to Rimini, where they meet up with the girls they were dating back then. For the men and women they have since become, this is the start of an eventful reliving of events destined to erupt in unexpected rekindling of old flames, tormented confessions, wrangling and tit-for-tat accusations: the reunion will leave one dead, but for all involved the event provides a chance for reflection and growth.
