Reeling from the death of a student, Headmaster Héctor recalls both the student's first year at Black Lagoon and his acquiring the old orphanage with Elsa's help to establish the school. As Iván remains missing, his friends search the tunnels, fearing the worst but finding the bodies of Alfonso and the five orphans gone. Further inquiry reveals that their letters and videos sent to various newspapers have all been intercepted. As a school search through student belonging points the finger on the friends for harboring drugs, Iván calls Maria to privately ask for money. As Héctor tails Maria for stealing his car, the school board convenes for an emergency session in reaction to the student death, demanding satisfaction.
