在这部天国餐馆剧情/喜剧片中,《天国餐馆》改编自佐佐木伦子的同名喜剧漫画《Heaven》，以一家名为“Loin dlci”的法式餐厅为舞台，讲述了怪人老板和几个被她摆弄的、个性十足的服务员之间的喜剧故事。“Loin dlci”餐厅又名世界的尽头，店如其名，它距离车站、闹市、住宅都很远，而这家餐厅之所以叫“天国餐馆”，是因为它位于坟墓的风景区，旁边就是殡葬社。
Kan is an employee at a restaurant. He does fine, but there is a question whether he is suited for his job. Neither customers nor co-workers are in love with him. Kanoko sees potential in him however and eyes him for a job at her new French restaurant. It is soon clear that the restaurant is neither conventional nor putting together a cadre of regular employees.
