Peter was once a nice guy, but committed suicide after Annette rejected him at a party, which explains his dressed looks as a clown. Sophie manages to escape and is hospitalized where she meets Chantal, the previous babysitter and also victim of Peter. Meanwhile, police inspector De Vries and his colleagues Temmink and Snijder, who shot Richard to death after chasing him and Annette, discover that the nightmare isn't over yet and that both girls are in grave danger when Peter takes a human form by possessing the corpse of Richard.
