クリスマスが近づいたある夜。お母さんと妹のキキと3人で暮らすマックスが眠りに就こうとしたその時、向かいの納屋の屋根を突き破って、大きなヘラジカが落ちて来た! しかもびっくりする事に人間の言葉をしゃべるのだった! ムースと名乗るそのヘラジカは、トナカイの代わりにサンタクロースを乗せ、クリスマスプレゼントの配達コースをテスト走行中、脚を滑らせてしまったらしい。マックスは、面白くて優しくて、サンタクロースとはぐれて落ち込んでると思いきや、けろっと明るく前向きなムースに興味津々! すぐに打ち解け仲良くなった。でもそれが、大騒動の始まりだった…。
When his father cannot make it home Max is convinced that Christmas will be extremely boring this year. But then Mr. Moose crashes through his roof and he is not so sure anymore. This is a giant talking Moose with a big mouth, a warm hearth and a tendency for drama. He claims he was on a test-run with Santa Claus, lost control over the sleigh and crashed, injuring his leg. And now he has to find Santa Claus, otherwise nobody will receive their Christmas gifts. Is Max able to get Mr. Moose and Santa flying again?
