Ahn Hyun-sang works at Samho Corporation and is engaged to Jang Yeon-hi. But Yeon-hi betrays him and marries the son of the chairman of Samho, Ki Dae-wun. Hyun-sang's sister dies when Dae-wun's car runs her over. When Dae-wun fails to get a bank loan, the company is thrown into dire circumstances and although he needs Jung Yang-suk's help, he suffers from the past when he seized her father's fortune. The animosity both by Yang-suk who is in love with Hyun-sang and Hyun-sang drives Samho to bankruptcy. But Hyun-sang tells Yeon-hi that he loved her and Yang-suk tastes the bitter sweetness of revenge and go out of the country.
