Ryan is a man with a young family but is grief stricken at the recent loss of his identical brother Lucas. He is becoming isolated and obsessed in finding his twin, who he sees in his dreams and is convinced is still alive. Lucas is indeed alive but is a patient in a high security mental asylum, which is employing questionable experimental techniques with hallucinogenic drugs. He is terrorized by visions of the devil coming for him to eventually take his life and his soul. His only hope is that his brother will find him first.
