The gang has a paddle-wheel sloop in L.A.'s harbor. They chat with an old sea captain who shows them a treasure map. Joe copies the map looking over the salt's shoulder, then the gang steams for the spot. Unbeknownst to the kids, a movie crew is filming a jungle story near the area where the treasure might be buried. While most of the gang digs, Farina engages with a chimp who's part of the movie shoot. The actors, including several dressed as wild animals, see the kids discover a treasure chest. They set out to scare and capture our gang. Do the kids have any chance against the pseudo savages?
