Bitter comedy, full of emotions was the source for a television adaptation of „Zvezdara Theatre“ performance (1990), as well as for a feature movie adaptation (2003), latter directed by the author himself. The television version faithfully followed the text of original comedy, but in more recent movie version, Kovačević changes original post-Titoistic totalitarian ambient into Slobodan Milošević epoch, adding to his artistic vision documentary materials of numerous Belgrade civic protests in 1990-ies.
