Calculus is the mathematical analysis of movement. 'strands', a 25 minute video, explores movements of information through and across different mediums, languages, shapes and forms. We are invited to follow information as it moves, and is translated, between: light, binary code, the written word, numbers and images. Digital and analogue lines of information enter into a dialectical exchange as 'strands' favors neither video nor film, but uses each to contemplate the other.
