Palle and his brother Bjarne lives together in the small city Vejle. One day Bjarne's debt to the local drug dealers has reached a limit, and they are threatening to kill him if he can't raise the money. Palle tries to help Bjarne, but they fail miserably. Then they try to escape from the city, but this turns out to be very difficult even though they try both bus, taxi, train and even a boat!
