在取材方面《Act of Valor》也是相当有看点的，题材取自当今备受瞩目的英勇军事任务，向观众讲述了现役海豹突击队员们鲜为人知的真实故事。一支海豹突击队在执行秘密任务，在解救一名被绑架的中央情报局特工过程中，一举捣毁了不惜一切代价袭击美国的恐怖分子复杂网络。该片制片人拥有海军一手题材，该片题材取自发生在电影中的战士及其战友身上的真实事件，因此火爆激烈的打斗场面以和精彩纷呈的军事行动场面一定是不容错过的。
该片由Roselyn Sanchez（《尖峰时刻2》）与Emilio Rivera（《Traffic》（毒品网络））主演，预计将于2012年发行。
影片评价
当海豹突击队于2011年5月击毙了美国追踪了已久的911元凶奥萨姆?本?拉登，无数好莱坞公司对此题材跃跃欲试，其中就有因《拆弹部队》而获得奥斯卡大奖的凯瑟琳?毕格罗，不过，Relativity Media公司似乎抢得先机，因为由他们制作的《勇者行动》已经拍摄完成。
预告片中，无数动作镜头的剪辑，虽老套却令人热血沸腾，还有各种高科技新式武器的展示以及海豹突击队强悍的作战能力和配合，无不令人大开眼界，而该片也被称做《战地3》的真人版。你甚至可以把它当成美军的征兵广告。似乎在这个萧条的时候，传统的战争电影终于在美国银幕上再度复苏。
这是一部根据现役美军海豹突击队真实经历改编而成的军事题材影片，虽然整体故事为虚构，但是影片当中运用到的武器和设备以及战术等可都是实实在在的真家伙。壮烈紧张的战场真实感是影片强调的主题，在预告片中出现了犹如射击游戏般的第一人称视角画面，仿佛就像在打一场真人版的CS。另外，本片非常特殊地采用了佳能EOS 5D MARK II摄影机进行拍摄，其单反摄影般的画面质感或许将是本片的一个特别卖点。军事迷、游戏玩家以及摄影爱好者会是本片的潜在观众群。作为一部炫耀美军反恐实力的影片，政治因素以及残酷血腥的战争画面或许成为本片引进的一大障碍。
