◎简 介
在一起平常的交通事故中,肇事受伤的司机罗柏斯(威斯利史奈普 饰)竟被警方发现是一名职业杀手。他因枪杀了两名政府外交特使 ,而遭警方全面通缉。这起意外使罗柏斯被捕,并且移送纽约市受审。
押解人犯往纽约的专机就要起飞,火爆警探吉瑞德(汤米李琼斯饰)亲自押送两名犯人上机。在飞行途中,一名人犯突然掏出夹带的手枪,对同在机上的罗柏斯射击,子弹一枪命中机窗,使飞机立即吸入强劲的气流造成失压、失速,约于坠毁于急湍的大河中,造成重大死伤。而罗柏斯在协助吉瑞德救难后,却趁机逃逸……

本片由Tommy Lee Jones和Wesley Snipes担纲,在充裕经费的支持下,一些象飞机失事这样的大场面和惊险镜头自然拍得得心应手,事实上这也是本片最为人称道的部分。但在复杂的叙事交织下,人物性格略嫌不够鲜明,尤以Wesley Snipes差强人意。延续1993年类似题材的巨作《The Fugitive》叫好又叫座的辉煌,本片战绩不俗,但大部分观众都认为本片不如《The Fugitive》。

.Mark J. Sheridan was in New York working for his agency to try to find out what the Chinese intelligence is planning. But, out of defending himself, he killed 2 Agents trying to find a mole in the agency. So, he flees to escape from his agency who suspects him of cold blood murder and espionage. While suffering a car accident in Chicago, Sheridan was arrested and escorted on a prison transport via airplane. Sheridan's plane crashes along the way to prison.
