An estranged child escapes from school only to learn of the greater disappointments in life; A school teacher bears the weight of the downfall of his ill-fated drama production; A desolated man is torn between dreams and harsh reality; A self-claimed immortal constantly seeks for a tree to hang himself upon and returns as a ghost; A heart-broken hippy retreats into the void of nihilism.
