Meanwhile, she must be kept safe in an anonymous apartment. Ivan is married to Natasha, father to Anastasia, and he's just lost all his money in a card game. The man holding the debt is Franco. Ivan is convinced that the deck was marked, but has no way of proving it. He tells Natasha and Anastasia that he found work in a lead factory and begins guarding Nika as a way of paying off the debt.
Nika was kidnapped and sold into the global sex-trade. Ivan owes a large sum of money to Franco, a terrifying mob boss, who also happens to be the same man who sold Nika into slavery.
