Med-student Taek-gu works at a car wash and meets Dong-hi who works at a cafe. Incidentally, President Han appears before these two. Taek-gu goes out with Se-hi whom he met at the car wash. However, Se-hi gets bored with him and decides to leave him. He is also upset to find out that Dong-hi is not the daughter of a rich businessman that she claimed to be. As all his dreams fall apart, Taek-gu decides to sell Dong-hi off to Han and start a new life for himself but he gets beaten up by Han's men.
