Meanwhile, Xabier, a college professor who has been death threatened for his political views on the Basque situation, is having an affair with one of his students, Francesca, who -as a young psychologist- happens to end up helping Josu Jon recover his memory. Awarm feeling of mutual affection grows between her and her patient. At a point, there doesn't seem to be clear whether Josu Jon really wants to recover his memory or whether he'd rather forget forever who he actually is.
