在这部西岸故事短片/喜剧/歌舞片中,在巴勒斯坦和以色列的交界处，分别开有两家快餐店——胡姆斯坊与洁食店。因种族和信仰的问题，两家店互相指责，轻视对方。以色列青年大卫（Ben Newmark 本•纽马克饰）与胡姆斯坊店主的妹妹法提玛（Noureen DeWulf 饰）偶然邂逅，双方萌生了爱意，却因种族的关系，他们只能将感情深埋心中。
因一次被误解的恐怖袭击，大卫终于和法提玛有了言语交流，但他们的爱情很快便受到来自两个国家人民和亲友的阻挠。另一方面胡姆斯坊与洁食店的矛盾也越来越深……
